0G Labs, the LAYER 1 blockchain designed for AI applications, has unveiled its Galileo Testnet V3, marking a significant step toward its mainnet launch. The new testnet delivers a 70% performance improvement over its predecessor, achieving throughput of up to 2,500 transactions per second (TPS) through optimized CometBFT consensus.

Founder and CEO Michael Heinrich emphasized the testnet’s role in showcasing scalability for data-intensive decentralized applications. The upcoming mainnet aims to establish a decentralized AI operating system, with Galileo providing developers a preview of its capabilities.
